my N/A KA lags, 02 sensor, fuel pump, injectors, fuel filter?

When i hot the gas feels like it lags a little before it goes to the power it should be pushing. My engine light is on and could the 02 sensor actually do this by messing with ECU?

Ill prob clean my injectors as well, and maybe change fuel pump and change fuel filter and see if prob is still there, any ideas?

yes, could be o2. actually sounds like my car i have an o2 on teh way, current one is toasted. don't ever put in race fuel, kills o2's and plugs.

Also, run the codes on your engine. When the Check engine light is on, there will be a code you can pull. Stop at Autozone, I think they can do it.

yeah you have obdII
every time you look at your car wrong obdII goes into ohshit mode and spits out a light and retards timing (i think 20 degrees for most cars?)
i hate it. its a little easier to diagnose problems if you arent a mechanic though so i guess for some people its worth it

i have done the codes like a week ago, and it shows a bad O2 sensor, but i never thought 02 would make such a difference in cars performace i always used to thin kthey are just for smog regulation crap.

well ill do the O2 sensor and put new fuel filter on, change oil, clean fuel injectors clean the air intake and clean everything blah blah, cant wait to get my side skirts soon here!!

oh this reminds me!!! i have to stop by a nissan junkyard and see if they got any front lips for the 240s!

Re: my N/A KA lags, 02 sensor, fuel pump, injectors, fuel filter?

they are just for emissions
unfortunately obdII ecu's retard timing for ANY check engine light no matter how insignificant.
the loss of your sensor isnt the thing making your car feel sluggish, its the ecu.

this is for all you obdII guys out there.
GO buy a code reader. you can find them at checker or shucks or kragen(depending on where in the country you are) for like 150 bucks and believe me its worth every penny. you can read obdII codes from nearly any car, clear codes(which dealers charge like 100$ to do) AND...get this...AND you can read the information off EVERY sensor in your car.
its invaluable for tuning and stuff. it shows readouts for anything that the ECU sees in real time and it has a freeze frame mode so you can capture info and link it to your computer to upload. that by itself is worth the price tag.

The o2 sensor helps control your fuel curve.
