Use a very mild soap and do not wax it for a couple of weeks.

Re: My car just got painted when can i wash..

Very mild soap, and do not wax it for a couple of months. A very close friend of mine works in a body shop, he did some work to my car, and said don't wax for 2 months. Also, don't take it through any car wash that has the brushes that touch the car for those two months, either find a touch-less one or do it yourself.

Hmm... 2 people say wait longer than 2days and 1 person says 2 days is enough.

No two days is not enough for wax but you can wash it as much as you like just be sure to use a very mild soap and a very soft, very very very very clean mit/cloth. I would also reccomend you dry it too, or you will have water sopt problems.
