97 sc 2 ring job $$ =

what,s the average cost of a ring job on a 97 sc2 ( 5 speed,a/c, 95 k ) if that,s the cure for excessive oil consumption?? some guys on this forum believe the oil rings are the culprits.

search Saturnfans.com for the "MMO soak" i am not sure the cost of just changing the rings but parts alone will be at least $200

be sure to check your PCV valve. If it is bad it can cause oil consumption issues also. Repace it with an OEM part. It is worth the little bit extra.
