1995 Firing order issues

Hey guys, happy I found this forum for my Geo woohoo!

Anyways, neighbor has a 1995 Lumina Minivan with the 3.1L engine. He has tried to explain to me what the problem was, (language barrier), but I think he may have screwed up the firing order when he replaced the plug wires. I have searched all thru this forum for the answer but all i can find are explanations on the coil packs, this one has the distributor.

Can anyone paint me a picture on where the number 1 post is on the distributor? And the proper cylinder numbers?

what i think the cylinder numbers are
1-3-5
2-4-6
?

and firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6, right?
heres what it looks like, as from standing at the front of the van
