best headers for 3rd gen ?
this is probably the most redundant question of this forum...but im not having the best of luck so far with exhaust...so im just gonna ask you guys...which headers for 400 or less (preferably less..haha), that come with a y-pipe and maybe even a cat, have you found to fit and work best on your camaro??? any input will be greatly appreciated...oh yea it's for an 86' 4bbl 305

Go to www.summitracing.com, and search by make and model, there are a ton of headers on there for your car.

call up jegs as i did, tell them u want hedman with 1 5/8 primararies with 3" collecter and the matching y-pipe 245$ get it shipped to ur door in 3 days, and it puts the pipe EXACTLY back in stock location i was amazed realy easy and they come painted, i striped it off and put on VHT but def cool.

If you look around and keep your eye out you can find SLP's for around $400, they are without a doubt one of (if not the) best headers for the 3rd gens..and made of stainless steel.
