Question 94 Formula, anyone know how to instal a push button start?

I need to bypass my ignition switch with a push button switch/toggle but my key has a chip in it. Will this affect what I am trying to do and if so how. Any help would be appreciated.

Wes.

You will have to have the key in the ignition for it to work, but to my knowledge the push button will work. Youll have to turn the key to the run position, and wire the push button to the crank circuit with a supply voltage equal to what the ignition switch puts out. I dont know if its a 12 volt power, or if its a 4volt signal voltage to a relay of some sort. I dont have the manual in front of me right now so i cant check.
