just got a crx

i've looking for a crx for a decent price for about 3 months now and my father in law just called me a told me he bought me a crx for $250.00 in decent condition. i already have a b16a2 i/h/e, drop springs. i need motor mounts. can't wait to get off work so i can get it home. i'll post pics of my progress soon. that made my day.

Not all second gen b16's need a hydro dranny, as they also come out of the 92-93 Integra XSI's, with cable trannys...

dont the b16a2 have 170 hp??? thats bad ass wit h/i/e. i cant wait to see the pics. that sounds hot as shit. i wish my dad would do somin like that. i wana see it. my boy was tryin to buy a CRX Si for $1500 and the interior was pretty much was trashed and for $250 in "good" condition thats crazy. I wana know what the times are when you do the swap. if you do it which i dont see why.

i'm not sure if its 160 or 170. some ppl tell me 160 and some 170. i ran into a problem yesterday that pissed me off. here goes the problem- i haven't went to look at the car yet, the last i knew my father in law bought it. he had been sick for the past two days, so i didn't want to bother him to have it towed to my house. i call him and he tells me that he didn't buy it b/c there was no title. he said the guy that was going to sell him the car is trying to find the title. so now i don't know if i'm going to get the car. anyone know anything about bonded titles?

If it came from a 92-95 Civic SiR in japan, yes it has 170hp with a B16A.
The SiR Gen 1 came with 160 hp B16A
The 92-93 Teg Xsi im not sure on the hp. Its 170 i believe because the 90-91 Xsi had the B16 with 150hp?

Not sure and BTW the B16a2 came in USDM 99-00 Civic Si's. All japanese engines dont have numbers after the code itself.

i know what car it came out of, i pulled it out. 2000 civic si. i thought it had 160hp but like i said some people tell me 170 and some 160. i just got a number from a guy i work with that knows a lady that does title bonds. i'm going to get the v.i.n. and other info i need a try and get the title for it

the motor is bad ass anyway 160 , 170 eather way id take it, ....well i do have one (b16a2) to bad its blown to hell...

Why is everyone getting so happy about a 2nd gen b16? The ones that came from the 2-5 civic SiR in Japan came with 170horse, as did the 92-93 Integra XSi (god damn I want one piece headlights), only differences were the SiR had hydro tranny, and XSi came with a cable.

Really the JDM 2nd gen b16 is fun. I have one from an XSi in my 89HF and it's fun.

Oh, and I belive the b16 from a 2000 Civic SI's were 160 horse
