700r4 shifting woes
I have an 84 70r4 tranny, and its been rebuilt with heavy duty components (sun shell, clutches, etc.). No matter how i adjust the tv cable it wont shift in to first gear above 20 and 3-2 shifting at around 50 or so doesnt work. It will downshift from third but then the motor just revs up and second doesnt come. i have 3.08 gears and i know 2nd will go to about 70mph. it had the same problem before i had it rebiult. any thoughts?
