whats up guys. I decided it was time to change my air filter, so i started looking on ebay for 3 inch cone adapters, so i can get rid of my cracked up piece of shit stock box. Then came across this.

Is this real???? A nismo air intake filter for 12 bux with the adapter?? sounds to good to be true. A nismo part for 12 bux??? But it clearly says nismo on it and i would think he would be sued by now if it wasnt. He has LOTS of positive feedback too, so i dont know, thought id run it by you guys. Im not trying to be a cheap ass, but if its real its to good to pass up. Enjuku sells JUST the 3" adapter plate for 30 dollars, i was like wtf hell no!!!! But if i have to, ill pay it i guess. LOL you can tell im being pretty strict on my spending, i want the ka-t bad!!!!!

sounds too good to be true, but for 26$ shipped to your house? dang that would be a sweet deal. Buy it, i was looking at his feedback and some of the other intakes and filters they have sold have all gotten postive reviews. Buy it and tell us...

yea i thought about it, even if it is fake it still will get the job done. I think it is fake though. Because a few pages down, theres a nismo HKS style filter too, it looks super cheap, but still says nismo on it. How in the hell do these people get away with that?

idk, nismo probaly doesnt car to sue some little company selling filter for 26$, now if they were producing major products then they probably wouldnt be in business right now. And what exactly is the difference between most air filters? as long as it gets the job done..

yea, i know, but if the cheap piece of shit falls apart or something...o well its only 20 bux. I just need a new filter, and thought might as well find a cheap do it yourselfer, as im not interested in spending alot of money for a injen intake or some other bull crap. But i might just try an find the adapter piece alone( one thats cheaper than the enjuku one), then buy a kn cone filter from autozone or someshit.

i dont know, still looking around for good deals, just wanted to know what you guys thought on that nismo fake shit.

but hte thing is it gets the job done and works just as good as some other filters out there, the thing is that it says NIsmo on it and looks good so it can get you some show points

on the other hand, the adapter doesn't fit (i already bought it and tried), but the filter is well made. i've seen real greddy airnx filters that cost $80 crack where this one would actually hold up.

so how bad does the adapter not fit your MAFS? did it seem like there was any way to screw with it to make it fit? or is it just hugely off?

no sometimes the adapter's holes are misplaced. You just need to simply redrill the holes to match your MAF.

if you read it slowly... it's a "nismo style" air filter... so it just 'looks' like a nismo filter but it's not the real thing. If you search for a mugen air filter.. you'll come up with the same exact item but with a MUGEN sticker on it... hence, they are ALL fake. But for $20~ i don't think it's all that bad. I would just becareful of cheap imitations b/c it could let in dirt or excessive particles into your motor which will lower the life span and what not.... jus fyi.

well i bought one just to try out, if everything works ok, then ill get 2 more. Should be here tomorrow i think. Ill give the low down on it once i get it and play with it. I hope the plate fits, i dont wanna redrill, i dont have a metal drill at my house
