Oil kept leaking, thought it was engine

Was relieved to find out that it was a gasket.

However, upon further inspection it is the water pump.

Are there any problems that can stem from this?

Because I've got a decision on my hands.

Pay the 250-400 for the water pump + 120 for 02 sensor and IAC valve + work to install sensor and valve or only use the car for short distances and let it sit there and add a little oil every 4-5 drives
