2 problems

First problem
I just got an 1990 APV it had heat before the Water pump blew. I replaced the Water Pump and the thermostat and had the system flushed. Now I don't have any heat. Any ideas?

Second
The 1993 APV I just got starts then starts Running Very rough. Like half the Cylinders aren't firing. No coolant in the oil etc. Any Ideal on this one?

Re: 2 problems

You need to bleed the air out of the cooling system on the '90 so coolant will circulate through the heater core, and the system will be full. Right now you have trapped air locking it up.

The other on sounds like it has a bad coil pack. Each fires two cylinders, so when one goes bad it takes a huge chunk outta your power and makes 'em shake like hell.

Have no worries

in the 90 apv, the mechanic must not have had the heater on when they flushed the coolant, therefore you have a huge air pocket inside your heater core. the system must be bled, as jeff just stated.

The 93 APV could be numerous things, sounds like it just needs a good tune-up, ie...spark plugs, wireset, be sure to run a good fuel injector cleaner through these motors at least once a month also. These earlier 90's gm's were common to have fuel injector problems. you can get all these items at your local AutoZone.

There is a bleeder screw above the water pump, at the top of the little tower that the heater hose connects to. There may be one on the thermostat housing too. Fill till no more air bubbles out and coolant flows solidly from both. Then run it to operating temp and repeat to make sure it is purged.
