turn signal 97 cutlass supreme

Im ahving trouble with my turn signals. I have replaced the bulbs and checked the fuses. If I move the switch up and down slowly I can get it to work for a little while, but then it stops working again. Any idea what the problem is?

Re: turn signal 97 cutlass supreme

Hey, I'm having the same problem with my left turn signal, It will work if I push it forward a bit, I think it's a short because once in a while I actually get some static on my radio while I'm trying to keep my signal going. Let me know if you figure yours out

Yeah i have a cutlass 92, and my turn signals light up but don't blink, but my hazards work... so i bet its a flasher, so i got one.. but can't find it anywhere to replace it. i've heard it was under your steering column, but i found something that resembles it under my dash, so i took that one out and pluged my new one in, but now they don't light up at all.. so i'm thinking thats not the flasher.. so does anyone know where it is let me know, i have been going with out turn signals for about 3 months now, and i can't stand it any longer
