Slow Start

Just this week my 95 Cutlass 103k takes 2 - 3 time to to start. It has always started on the first try. It was just in the morining but now it is evertime it needs 2 - 3 cranks to start. I would like to fix this before it leaves me. Where should I start ?

Gary, I'm no pro. but I'm putting another 3.1 in my 95 cutlass this weekend. So far so good.

I would start with plugs, wires, coils, and if that doesn't do it... It could be your crank sensor.

Re: Slow Start

I Keep thinking the problem has something to do with the fuel. Loosing its prime ? Fuel pump problems. When it starts it runs very good.
