1996 Eclipse-Oil capacity

Just bought 96 eclipse. Changed oil, noted dipstick does not appear to be original. Has notches filed in stick. What is proper oil refill/w filter for this engine?

Re: 1996 Eclipse-Oil capacity

lol... go to dealership and buy a stock dipstick for about $13...

That and you need to be more descriptive with your questions!!

Go to USERCP... then go to signiature... add in the year/make/MODEL...hell maybe even a pic or two of your ride or whatever!!! lol
If we don't know the model then we don't know what engine you have....it could be a 1.8... 2.0NT....2.0T...2.4 bla bla bla...

OH YEAH>>> WELCOME TO AF>COM!!!!!!!!!!
