So Desperate!!!

First off I would like to say hello to all my dsm lovers... Now I desperately need a 95-99 eclipse. I don't really mind which model as long as its 5spd, although i would perfer a 4g63 (turbo). My budget is $3400 (for car only). If anyone is selling or knows someone selling an eclipse please let me know. Thank You

As for a 99 turbo dsm i doubt youd get for 3400, but you might be able to see a 95 gst and if youre lucky a gsx for about 5000-7000...thats the typical price in Illinois, not sure about anywhere else though.

if your ultimate goal is 2g + turbo, I would also try looking for a Talon Tsi. They usually sell cheaper than the Eclipse for some reason. You can easily do a eclipse conversion on it later.

You might find a 95 or 96 gst with high miles in your range if your lucky, or one that is salvage. If you had about 5-6k like metal said you would be in much better shape.

Just keep checiking each day on autotrader, dsmtrader, ect ect. You never know what might show up.

EDIT: If your really looking for a turbo model don't settle for a gs or rs. You will feel so unsatisfied. I settled for my Gs and have done nothing but wish is was a Gst. It might take a while but hold out for what you want.

Yeah totally man. Get what you want, don't waste your time with the non-turbos. Definatley consider the talon, it is the same car, just less money. It would be nice if you had a few more dollas in the bank though.

with that price range I am sure you could find a well modified 1g but even for a bone stock 2g................good luck

Start lookin in Texas, you can get a 2g turbo (95-96 model or a rough 97)for about 2500. There are so many dsm's down here, everyone and their grandmother has one. But Talons are the wanted item, thats what everyone wants down here, so look for an eclipse, pretty dam cheap.

I'm interested in a turbo dsm, i currently have a 97 eclipse gs and wish it was faster. I life in Northeastern NC, close to Norfolk. You dont happen to live around there by chance?
