Question 2000 Plymouth Neon stuck in park

It's not on a hill, I moved the wheel around because I thought it was unlocked, I am totally baffled.
Any ideas??

Just checking the obvious, make sure your foot is firmly on the brake when you are taking it out of park. It wont move otherwise. This is a "safety feature".

Arlene: Check your owners manual-I seem to remember a brake light fuse ,causing that to happen.
