Unhappy 89' 325is power wndw and fan failure

problem: both power windows and a/c fan dont work when i start my car. then in about three days, they work for a couple engine starts and stops, then the next time i go to start the car they wont work. because this happens when the car is at rest, i dont think it is "bumpy road" related. the fuses, breaker, and switches all check out ok. i read that when unrelated items stop working, that it may be a ground wire from the main fuse box....is this true, and how do i check? could it be some sort of relay? please help.....it is suppose to rain friday, and guess which way they are stuck now!
also need fuse box diagram for an 89 325is....thanks in advance
