GTU equal to Turbo 2?

is the drivetrain on the 87-91 the same like can i swap the engine on the gtu to a turbo 2 engine and not have to swap the axles and driveshaft and all that crap. because i know that you do have to do the swap for the GXL's.

nope, the n/a's had different drivetrains than the TII's. All of em.
