Evo VII are just ugly....I like the Evo VI the best...you really cant compare them in the looks department

vs

BMW M3...despite not having the AWD or turbo capabilities...does excellently...0-60 in 4.8 seconds...333HP for us in the USA and just a remarkable machine all around.

evo is even lighter and can corner better. if its not a high way battle where top end is required. the evo will beat the m3. but not by much. if its highway battle that requires speeds over 120mph. the m3 will murder the evo

evo 7 too one-dimensional.
M3 is a finer car

Evo is not a highway battle type car...a Supra is...or a Viper...but not a Evo...it's more tuned towards quick acceleration and not so tuned for high end horsepower pulls.

Evo's place is best in adverse conditions like in rallying or in bad weather. If it is dry conditions...the M3 can certainly hang w/the Evo...if not beat it due to it's truly remarkable handling and steering.

M3 still....

It depends on what you really want: drive, or be driven?
EVO 7 takes little skill to drive fast... That's not driver satisfaction, that's cheap thrills.

Depends if u wanna be driving a BMW or a Mitsu too, personally i'd go with the mitsu cuz i like power and handling and i don't have grandkids yet :finger: maybe when i'm elligible for social security and can afford a beamer i'd go with that but as long as i still like the feeling of being in a cockpit instead of a moving couch with leather seats i'd go with the EVO

Power...what the 333HP isnt enough for you compared to the Mitsu's 276HP?

Handling...like the M3 cannot handle...HA! You bet it can.

Grankids...if you dont have them...then you would opt for the 2dr M3 vs the more family oriented 4dr saloon style.

yea if i was older and wanted more power from the factory and wasn't really into tuning at all, just want to go fast and not know how it's done i'd go with the beamer, but i'm into tuning so i'd have to get the lancer, what u can u buy an exhaust for a beamer, making a big 340hp then i'd be more satisfying going with the lancer and tuning it to hmm double that 333 hp plus the looks of the lancer are better too, maybe not the VII but the VI and V, if i was seen in a beamer ppl would think it's ur rents car or else assume you're a richboy who wants to go fast in a moving sofa, EVO's look alot nicer than a beamer, not just some everyday bmw, sure BMW's can handle but who would wanna handle one 276hp is the limit on JP spec vehicles or i'm sure it'd be making more, and a 2dr M3? come on now, if u want a sports car buy a sports car not obvious sedan that is trying to be a full on sports car, i see M3's and 5's everyday, there's nothing special about them..........ohh yea :finger: BMW

Ok if you want to say that BMW's suck because of apearance it's your right because everyone has different tastes. If you say beamers suck from a technological point of view then you are just ignorant.

Damn... the new M3 stock will murder a stock evo easily... Everybody know that modifing turbo cars is another story then modifinig NA cars... IF you want the straight line then M3 wins hands down , and at higher speeds there's no contest... Corners... M3 kills it in the dry , but with it's AWD mitsu wins in slicky conditions... So draw here... Track... M3 will win on most tracks... Comfort... M3 Prestige... M3 Reliablity ... M3 , Price... EVO ... Overall if you can afford it then 4 sure M3 is a better car....
