Has anyone ever had this problem of leaking antifreeze out the back of the engine? I'm assuming there's a hose or pipe back there that ties the 2 heads together, but how do you get to it without ripping out the tranny.
Any help would be appreciated Thanks jumanjii1 PS. I'm sick of fixing cars, will the dealer charge a lot for this repair? |

i had that same problem with my 3.2L....you are gonna have to rip off the top half of the engine to get to the culprit...in my case a crappy coolant crossover manifold that just rottted through and started leaking. it drove me mad because there is no way to access it without taking off the cylider head...it is too close to the firewall. you shouldn't have to take off the camshaft or rocker shaft assemblies, so it isn't as bad as it sounds.
man, i'd like to meet the guy who designed this engine........... |
