Angry 96 geo metro

I have taken a engine out of a 96 geo and made a three wheel trike. The problem is the engine ran great when we started. We are down to three wires and still cannot get it started. We also bought another Geo took all the wire harness out and still can not get it started. Does anyone know how to get it started or anything about the wires that need to run the engine the lights and gages all work just can't get it to running. ANY HELP???

Well, what you have to do first is find out if it's not getting spark, or not getting fuel. Or both. Then, find out if the fuel pump is even coming on. It could be anything from a poor ground to something not being hooked up. If you can, it would be good to just get a carb setup goin on the engine, forget the electronics. Also, if it's a 96, it's most likely OBD-II. And if both o2 sensors aren't in place, it won't start.
