What are these?
My 00 SEL (actually my wife drives most time), we bought it recently used. The other other day I noticed two things that I could not figure out what they were. (1) On the driver side directly below the windshield where the glass meets the dashboard I saw an object sticking out, looks like some sort of small light bulb. Never seen it illuminated so I have no idea what this is. Read manual but no description for that. (2) On the driver side sun visor are three buttons (?). One of them is arrow shape pointing aft. Again no description in the manual.

Not sure what the small light bulb is for, but the item with 3 button on the drivers side visor is a Homelink transmitter.
Basically its a built in garage door opener, just program it with your current transmitter, hopefully the owners manual should have instructions on how to program it. I have one on my 97 Maxima, but its incompatible with the current systems, because it doesnt handle rolling code openers. I believe yours should be able to use a rolling code setup. |

The little thing in dash is for the automatic headlights if it has them. It is sensitive to light and will turn on or off your lights dependant on the light conditions.
