Body roll/lean... any fixes?
I have a '97 LE w/100k miles. I would like to improve the body lean/roll in turns. I have always driven trucks of some sort, so I am not expecting a car-like ride. Does anyone know of an effective aftermarket kit to help with this? I think new poly bushings and upgraded sway/stabilizer bars would be the ticket but I would love to hear what you guys think?

Re: Body roll/lean... any fixes?
I don't know where to find the parts, but the usual fixes would be just as you said, stiffer anti-sway bars and poly bushings (although optional). You could also just go with poly bushings which may help if your stock bushings are rotted out.
Another option would be to get stiffer springs, but that would compromise ride comfort a lot more than just an anti-sway bar upgrade. |
