Unhappy 93 Cutlass won't reverse

Last week, I put my car in reverse but acted like it was in neutral. When I put it in drive, it was fine. I put it back in reverse and had to push on the gas a little before in finally jerked back. After that it didn't do it every time, but now it's gotten worse.

Re: 93 Cutlass won't reverse

try checking your tranny fluid and see if it is low, and if that isnt the problem try checking the shift linkage, it may not be tight. if those dont work i would reccomend a shop, because if its something internal you dont really wanna mess with it yourself. thats all the advice i can give on it, im not a big tranny person.
