Control Arm problems
in attempts to replace my front cross member, i came across a fairly bad problem. Taking of the left lower control arm is easy, but the right side sux. I tried removing the right LCA from two civic and both times the bolt seems to be attatched to the metal sleeve in the LCA bushing. So i get a SQUEEK everytime i loosen the bolt. And also the two metal slabs that the LCA rises into are bending out as i unscrew the bolt. Thats my best description of the problem. If anyone could give their two cetns thatd be great.

Re: Control Arm problems
Cut the bolt off and replace it with a Honda part. You may need to replace the LCA bushing as well, or even the whole control arm.
