wheel???

Hi all!

will this wheel work on a 99 4x4, or is it for a 4x2 only. I have the 4x4 and want to think of upgrading from the stock steel rims that came on the base "S" model.

thanks,
SOSLTER

Well I'm no expert, Greg but I don't know why Isuzu (or any manufacturer) would have different wheels for the same vehicle depending on the drive train. Seems like that would be a big headache for them on the factory floor having to keep track of two different wheels. Already a big enough pain just keeping track of stock vs optional let alone 2WD vs 4WD.

Nonetheless, I would wait and get a definitive answer from the experts on this forum before I got out my checkbook.

Nice looking wheels, BTW.

Re: wheel???

That rim is from a 2003-2004 Rodeo. The center cap is NOT removeable.

Also, these will not fit your 99. The 2003-2004 had different small auto hubs. The 98-02 has a larger hub that pokes through the rim.

Well, there you go. I had assumed they were '98-'02 rims (which should all be interchangeable, right, Ryan?) Leave it to the expert to identify these as newer rims. You da man, Ryan!

Will the 98-02 rims fit the 97 model year?

Thanks for the help Ryan and JWS! I guessed the larger hub was the issue. Always good to learn a little bit!

Does anyone have a pic of the upgraded wheels from a 98-02 rig, I'd like to see what I can upgrade to, then I'll watch ebay. Of course the wheel shops are an idea, but I'd want a pretty good price!

Too bad, those are nice wheels, and the wife was on board

they are on ebay if anyone can use them:
