front axle????

I noticed some grease on the drivers side of my front axle pumpkin. The boots look in good shape. The four wheel drive works fine also. Is this a common thing to see?

Re: front axle????

the big clamp is probably loose i would get a universal clamp from a jobber (napa, auto zone etc.) and some grease. remove the old clamp, slide the boot back add some grease and install the new clamp. should be alright. if you leave it the way it is dirt and moisture will eventually wreck the axle.

I would also inspect the remote oil cooler lines.
