50's era mercedes 220s, with ragtop? not convertible

allright, i need help. i have found a 50's era mercedes 220s 4 door sedan, with not a convertible top, but a rag top. it's kind of like a convertible top, with motors and all, but the pillars, rear window are still there.it's like a big hole in the roof that goes from the front seats to the back. i need to know if this was an option, and how much this car is worth. it has power everything, REAL wood dash and door trim,chrome everywhere and such. i also need to know what year it could be.......thank you............oh yeah, it needs ALOT of work, due to age and sitting...the sticker on it is from 1973. and it has been sitting outside, so you can imagine.
