Angry 1987 delta 88 royale problems installing cd player

I tried installing a after market cd player, i bought the harness kit and everything hooked it all up. but nothing comes out of the speakers...i double checked the wiring for the speakers....the cd player is getting power...but i can't get any sound out of the speaker. and when the factory radio was in the speakers played fine...any ideas?
