Tune up time
Its time to tune up my Jetta VR6 and I was just wondering if its realy neccesary to replace the plug wires? 100 bucks is kinda steep.
I was thinking about the Bouch +4's or NGK Irridiums. Anybody try those before and what kinda results.

Use factory spark plugs. VWs are anal about the spark plugs they use and aftermarket ones usually cause misfires. And a new set of spark plug wires are about 130 from vw. not really needed.

Thanks. I appreciate the response. I'm gonna change them today along with a fresh shot of mobile one synthetic.
