power door locks

Back again with another problem. Before anyone gives me grief I first searched all the threads for my problem without success.
Here's the problem : power door locks don't work, all windows work from all buttoms.
My book says to ground out #14 on plug and doors should lock. That would mean the switch is bad. Not so, still wont lock. Next it say I should hace 12V to #14 I don't. Thats my question: where is the power suppose to come from? is there a fuse , fusable link, or relay that I can check?

No doubt your door lock timer is shot. Check www.maxima.org - I had a similar problem w/ my 92 maxima. Feel free to send me an email ([email protected]). I also sell used timers if you are interested, or sounds like you could fix yours easily.

Well I found the timer box and removed and opened it. Didn't find any bad or loose soldier joints.
I will try one from the junk yard tomorrow. Thanks for the info.
