so i met this girl...

two weekends ago downtown. We started dancing and stuff. I was drunk she wasn't. The "beer goggles" kicked in a little bit and when all the clubs kicked us out I asked for her number. For some reason I guess this sent a message to her that I wanted a relationship out of the whole thing. Remember, this was the first time I have ever met her. She seemed like a cool girl and I'm always down for making connections, whether they be intimate or purely friendly. The next week proceeded to be one from hell and I did not call her. So Friday rolls around and my friends call me up and we go downtown again. Now my city isn't that big, but it is fairly good size. We went to the same club and low and behold who was there. The same girl. She got up in my face about how I didn't call her and what not, blah blah blah. All I said was I'm sorry. Partially 'cause i'm a dick sometimes and I just wanted to dance, and I knew taht she would dance with me. Well the night ends and she is like, "So are you gonna call me this week?" I said yes, and I called her last night, but it was a short conversation mostly about how the past week has been and such, just small talk. My friend was talkin to her friend and her friend said that she REALLY likes me. The feeling just isn't there for me though. I just don't know how to go about telling her that I don't really want to go out with her. I don't want to use the line "I'm not ready for a relationship" because I AM ready for one, just not with her. I'm trying to avoid making the awkward setting if we were to run into each other again, especially if I am with another girl. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I say take her out someplace away from the club in the middle of the week or something, get to know her better. You've only hung out with her at a club twice, that's not much to go on personally.

well have you talked to her about it yet? if you dont want to lower her self esteem just be like your a good looking girl, you seem like a really cool person but i just cant see myself in a relationship right now. (even though you want one) she dont need to know that though lol

or you can go the route of seeing if she want to just be friends with benefits (

well just to give you all an update. i think the girl is crazy. i got a call from a restricted number (which i rarely answer, why i answered this one i have no clue). the girl on the line was sayin all this stuff that could only apply to this girl i met downtown. i hang up with the stranger and not even two minutes late i get a text message from the girl i met downtown. basically i told her what happened, then i decided to call her. i called her out on this "stranger" calling. she got a little offended that i would assume it was her, but the voice sounded the same, and she knew some things that i only told her. i.e i'm from a city that is an hour away from where she used to live and our high schools played each other in basketball. the "stranger" asked if i was in my city. little details that i don't think she meant to let out but i picked up on. anyways, i haven't talked to her since. if i see her in a club i'm gonna try and brush it off but i think she may have a way of makin it explode in some drama fest.

It sounds like you know how to handle it. Don't let the "drama" crap get to you either... shrug it off or ignore her if she tries to cause a "scene." There are millions of girls in this world and she's just one... that you don't particularly want to be in a relationship with... LOL.
