My happy 30th birthday W/PICS NOW

Well today is my 30th Bday and I was heading on my way out to play some texas holdem....
I'm heading east going 55mph and slow down for a lady walking her dog.
There was a truck heading west with a snowmobile trailer(empty) and all of a sudden the trailer lifts off the ground ( tires about chest-head height) flies up to my left to the point I could see the deck of it above the pssngr back of the truck and then it swings back right in front of me....
I swerve onto the shoulder but it hits me at about 55mph if not faster and smashes into my front right spinning my ass end to the right and I do a 180 onto the side of the road REALLY close to the lady walking her dog!!! She and I are two very lucky people!!!!!
The oil cooler completely in... and left part of front clip, driving light and out is GONE, front tire is smashed back a FEW inches, F & R quarter panel is smashed and my back left tire is now at a 45 deg to the ground and 45 deg toe out!!!
The crappiest part about this all is that next weekend I was going to drop my car off at Jake/eclipserst to have a 6 bolt rebuild swap.
Now I have an EVO 3 16G turbo that I got off of ebay with about 250 miles on it arriving in a few days, an S-AFC, 550cc injectors, Profec B II, IC piping 6bolt kiggly flex plate adapter and NO CAR TO PUT IT IN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
happy Bday to me....
I'm getting pics tomorrow and will post them for all to see...
The only thing I can think of is that the pin that holds the trailer flat came out/never put in and it lifted the front up, wind caught it and it went like a kite... up to the left and down to the right.....
Now i'm at home with some beer, bacardi limon and a headache....
Good side...i'm in need of a new car...GSX...maybe...

OK HERE ARE SOME PICS

Go to my cardomain for some more pics... I got more but these should be enough

Re: My happy 30th birthday

its one of thoes thing you think will never happen to you....and when it dose you can make up a awsome story like "yeah , i was going like 150 and the car did a backflip then it spun out of control" but either way it sucks. if it happenend to me i would be in a state of shock and it would take acouple days for me to realized what happened...

Re: My happy 30th birthday

Cars can be replaced, glad you're in one piece When bad luck like this strikes, it usually inspires me to somehow improve the situation. Like moving to an AWD. I'm willing to bet the car is totalled. Good luck with it.

Yikes your driver's side tire doesn't look happy lol. Any news from the insurance companies about how they're going to fix things?
