Stabilizing bar
Is a stabilizing bar necessary on a bug? i have one but im not sure if i want it. should i keep it what the advantages of having one? any help?

They are quite useful, they keep the body from swaying when you go around a corner.

Alright, thanks for the info. I had to replace my torsion arm and i found an arm off of an older car but it didnt have the bar. Thanks again.

Looking at another of your posts, where you ask about getting above 90 MPH, I recommend getting the heavy duty (3/4") sway bars, and also installing sway bars on the rear.
The stock suspension set-up wasn't designed for the speeds you want, and these cars aren't very forgiving when they start to get out of control. |
