Sorry race stories

I've had a gsx since October, but never raced it. Every time I merge, change lanes, or pass, people fall over themselves to allow me room. No one revs on me at stoplights. Damn these polite drivers.

I don't drive like an A-hole, but I think the car looks fast and inspires the obediance of civics. It's like being king of the road, but it's made me a pussy-- I'm used to getting the right of way.

Saturday morning I was driving to check out another gsx for sale. Got on the highway, and after a few miles the road was about to merge into one lane. I'm in the fast lane, and I glance to my right. Ugly brown Buick, so I give it half throttle to pass him before we merge, not paying attention. Then I see the guy punch it and squeze in front of me just as the lane closes, damn near hitting a concrete barrier. His bumper reads 3.8 supercharged. All I can think of is "How dare you." The fact he damn near hit me was beyond me, I was pissed because I have a turbo. He takes the next exit and I have no chance to redeem myself.

I need to be more vigilent.

Later that night I went to an environmental conference with my girlfriend. I got toasted while I was there. Needless to say, my girlfriend was driving back home. While we're waiting at a light a se-r sentra pulls up, looks over at our car, and rev's. I'm thinking wtf, the one night I don't drive is the only night in the past 3 months someone has wanted to race. My girlfriend looks at me, "what am I supposed to do?" I'm laughing, thinking it'll be funny if he loses to a girl, so I tell her to smoke him. She revs it a bit and hauls ass at the light, gets better than a car lenght in first gear. She takes it to third gear before she shuts down, with the se-r a bus behind. Pretty funny. Speedlimit was 40 and she didn't flinch.

My girlfriend is one kill up on me, and that's wrong. On the same day I was shamed by a Buick. Fuck...

At least u didnt lose to a civic like i did. I won the first of 2 race, it was on a red-green light race. The 2nd race we were going from a 30mph roll, i was in 3rd and forgot to downshift into second thus he dusted my ass while my turbo was begining to spool.

lol that sux. I was rolling on the floor when he hit that shit. I was sitting at sonic when he did that shit so i got a nice view. He didnt really fuck it up bad just needed a new hood and bumper.

same thing happens to me all the time!!! i have 3 cars, i let my g/f drive my 02 elantra and every time we go out to dinner. go see a movie, or whatever she ends up next to either a wrx, sti, gti, or srt4. everytime!!! i tell her to gun it just to watch them tear the shit out of my hyundai.

i hit my speed limiter while gaining like crazy on a srt-4 after the guy passed me with his hazards on... it was like a sucker punch...

but i did get an EVO on the freeway a couple days ago... he tried to pull that on-ramp shit and i was already in front. needless to say he didn't pass me on the on-ramp or the freeway when he tried to step...

i did drive an MR the other day. damn that is a nice car... dropped it from 4500 on a wet surface and it just hooked up like no tomorrow...
