Passenger Window

The passenger side power window doesnt work at all! It used to work an inch at a time and then i had to wait a while so it could charge up for another inch. haha. So if anyone knows where I could start troubleshooting this problem, lemme know. Thanks

Nope, wont work for either one. When it rolled down inch by inch, i could use it from the passenger or driver side controls.

Re: Passenger Window

Sounds like the window mechanism is binding due to lack of lubrication or the window motor is on its last legs.

Re: Passenger Window

No it is the motor in the passenger side believe me. I have a 91 2 door and have the same problem. Have been trying to get to it since i bought it a year ago. Pop off the door panel then you have to be careful you do not break it. Unhook the connector and try to clean it. If it does not work you need a motor. There is a circuit in the fuse box the big metal circle ones. Try those but they did not fix my problem. You need to drill out those pop rivets on the motor w a 1/4" drill bit and support the window. Then put new bolts on but make sure there on the inside or you will be sorry. You and I seem to have the same kinda problems. Just give me an email if you want to discuss them.
