How to make some performance improvements

Hey, I´m writting form Perú, I have a 2000 Lancer Gl, its a version that comes with 1.3L carburated engine, I´m looking for any way to get better performance for it, like changing air filter, exhaust with a header and some other things.

So anybody who would like to make any sugestion is welcome.

Never new that mitsu produced that model, cool though, your on the right forum, if any one knows you'll find it here.
I don't know man, I'm strugglin to, this is the first year the Lancer has been to the states, so were all looking up here to, if I find anything, I'll let you know.

It´s a 4 cylinder version that was comecialized in Latin America

sorry, just with that small of motor, damn, that sucks, you guys got screwed worse than we did.
Gsx-r(Suzuki) bikes hav e the same size motor's.
1.3 litre huh.
Bummer man, but still like I said before, if i here os see anything, I'll send it your way.

I´ve just installed a heade and i get a few more power, i also change my spark plugs, now i´m using Bosch Super 4.

I´ll try and new high flow air filter.:flash:
