Re: regarding a new gauge cluster...

You should be able to use a SI cluster but the redline on the tach would be wrong.

aight thanks! forget the si stuff....i'll take ANY workin gauge cluster...

as i sed i have a 2000 civic ex sedan automatic, how do i find out if i have vtec on it? if its single head or whatever else there is? i assume double head?

here's what i found out for gauges...

1. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT <<<---- but if you looke in item description it says "CIVIC 99-00 head only, Sdn (4 Dr)" waht does that mean?

2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT <-- this one seems to be made for me right? but it says vtec on it...

also i don't understand why #1 is $100 and #2 is only $50...the only difference i see is about 20k miles?

any thoughts or info?

also anyone else know any other good web sites besides ebay for gauge clusters?

let me know

thanks

ANY cluster from a 96-00 will fit. theyre different prices because its ebay, and they can do that. they will both work.

be cool? man all I want is a good WORKIN gauge that works, where i don't have to be off by 40mph and a gas gauge that doesn't say FULL when i'm runnin on empty..thats all i want, not tryin to be cool..

i don't even understand what your last sentence was about? as in what do you mean by vtec lights?

if you followed my links "head" is not waht i call them but that the seller of these guages, says as in 2000 gauge cluster (head only) <<-- i didn't know what he meant by that..

and furthermore are you sure i have a vtec ie. how do u know this/ where in my manual do i find this?

thanks
guy
