sparq hates JL audio
anyways, with those subs and power, you should be able to do about 140dB with no problem. of course it's all in the install. i think JL audio subs sound great. they will pound hard while at it too! but if i had to change something, i would change the amp. it cost too much just to run the subs. i would invest in a JBL 1200.1 instead. you'll save a lot of money by switching amps. but if money is not a factor, then the JL 1000/1 should be ok i guess. best way to help cure rattles is to tighten up loose things. actually, turn up the music loud until you hear rattles. then you go on a little adventure to isolate all the parts that are making the rattling noise. usually you will find something like a loose bolt or unsecure items such as cd's, tapes, etc laying around. sound dreadning your veichle would help, but it should be the second step after you locate your rattling location. sometimes people invest over $500 just to get rid of the noises because they turn to sound dreadning material first and the rattling still continues. then they find out that it was just a little bolt that had to be tighten up. so there you go. don't go with the expensive route first. go with the simple step and locate you problem. sorry for my english

![]() and that will sound awesome. I used to have 4 12" W6s pushed by MTX 2150x amps, and they hit HARD. I'm sure your set up will bump pretty hard. Use some dynamat and sound deadner and what not.

i love JL stuff....my friend philip has 4 12w3s pushed by a 1500w alpine v12, they thump..he hit 147dB with that setup.
my friend bill in NC has a pair of 15w4s and a sony amp and his windshield wipers bounce 1" off the dash ;p; i was able to set off car alarms with my 3 10w0s and a 760w sony amp..my current four audiobahn aw1251xs w/ 1600w lanzar amp hit realllly hard too..but the goal is to get back to JL stuff in my car. im thinkin im gonna get a single W6 (hell, maybe a w7?) and drop it in the spare tire well. anyone wanna buy my current setup?
