spark plug torque

i got told that the spark plugs in my 1987 rx7 had to be at a certain toque or the car wont start or it would ruin the engine...if so...how many ft-lbs?

since when ppl are wondering how much torque they put on their sparkplugs? come on...

I dont know about the whole "car wont start/ruin the engine thing", but according to the FSM, the factory spark plug torque is 9.4-13 Ft/Lbs..
