Re: looking for Harmonic balancers for a 86 fiero GT

Jason, there's another and better alternative. Do you still have the bad one? The only difference between the Fiero-specific balancer, and all the other 2.8 balancers for front drive cars of the same period, is where the timing mark is machined. The Fiero has the pointer on the back side, instead of the front like the FWD cars. The balancer from one of the FWD cars (or a replacement) can be re-marked by a competent machine shop (industrial) to be exactly like the Fiero unit. All the pulleys bolt up the same way.

I would love to know what the symptoms were that led you to know you had balancer problems? My '87 GT has developed a strange vibration most pronounced when decelerating. Started all of a sudden too.
