Question cop wrote down wrong speed limit

hey i just got pulled over and issued my 4th ticket about 2 days ago, and i really need to get out of it, but when i was checking out the ticket the cop wrote that i was doing 60 in a 40 but the area he pulled me over in is a 50, so i was just wondering if its possible to get this ticket thrown out, thanks

When you go to fight it, give it to the judge and say "Your honor I think I've got a defective ticket". When he asks why tell him, see what he says. It's a good chanch he'll throw it out.

Re: cop wrote down wrong speed limit

Yeah, but you'll need to prove that it was a 50 zone. Take pictures of the area showing the sign.

Re: cop wrote down wrong speed limit

the officer will also have a chance to modify his ticket in court to a 50 mph zone. At least it will be a less significant ticket.
