GTP v. Cougar(cam/ported heads)

EDIT:

Remember you have to right click and save as.

Sorry here is the cougar race:
cougar v GTP

Here is the vid:

GTP PB 11sec

New PB for me and on my final run of the day.

On a side note:
I might have an opportunity to get a strreet race on film of my GTP versus a 550-625hp new Viper. I know I will probably lose but it will be with a friend of mine and should be alot of fun. If it happens(%75 chance) I will definitely post it.

Re: GTP v. Cougar(cam/ported heads)

I think you'll loose against the Viper, here's why:

Your 11.919 run was probably at a track, which was prepared. On the street you won't get the same traction, which is a huge problem being FWD. A stock 500 hp viper runs about an 11.8 or 11.9 I think. Add to that another 50-125, and he will probably beat you. Don't feel bad about it, I mean you will stay pretty close with a VIPER.

And you don't think the viper ran an 11.8 or 11.9 on a prepped track?

Yes, but lack of traction is going to hurt Jeff a lot more than it is going to hurt the Viper

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
