We are going to buy a 1996 Chevy Lumina. It runs great, but the only issue it has is the speedometer "stops" at around 50mph. The car runs fine at all speeds and shifts without problem. Could this be a short in the wiring? I can tell the car goes faster than the 50 mph "max" shown on the speedometer.
