My first race was against a Grand National, back when my car was just about 100% stock. Needless to say, I got whooped!

My first street race was... uhh... saturday :P
Anyways... I'm ridin around in my '63 Ford Galaxie 500 (with a 390... that's 6.4 liters for you metric people), and I see my friend at a stop light with his 98 camaro (3.4 liter V6)... both cars are pretty much stock. Anyways, told him I wanted to race... light turned green... left him in the dust and hit about 95mph by the time he was at 80... yeah, he gave up at that point... fun fun fun.

my first race was against a honda civic and i lost! that was back when my RS was still stock... sad to admit that i got beat by a honda!!! thought to myself that i never want to loose to a honda again so i started modding! gaurenteed someone with a honda out there or any other car will still whip my ass but oh well i am a little bit quicker now and can put up a bigger fight!

Won! Yes, it is possible, the driver of it (my friend) sucked and the car is crap shape but he kept mothing off his"supercharger" which crapped about 2 days after the race, prolly an aftereffect, we didnt hit past 80 by the next light.

My first "race" was with my daily driver 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis (ie Crown Vic, cop car) against a early 90's Honda. He got me off the line (damn traction control) but after that it was all over. A 3400 lb car with 220 hp vs. a ~2700 lb car with 110 hp or so? No wonder it was over so soon :~)

my first race was in my friends maxima vs. a civic. the only reason i won is cause his car was a lot better then a civic. even with that it was close. haha. you can talk about racing all you want. the first time you do it, its different. needless to say , no other civic has got close to me.

I actually raced the same guy I race every time I go to the track.

I rarely care or notice the other lane. I just concentrate on doing the best run I possibly can.
I will admit that I often find the other lane interesing after the fact

My first race was against a McLaren F1! I fucking smoked that shit. If it wasnt for my HKS and TRD decals and my Type R emblem, i wouldnt have won! My GT Wing on my Front-wheel drive car was so helpful. COOL!!!

my first race was against a 89crx, this was back in 2000, when 15 sec slip were ok. i beat him, and his crew of other hondas, they shot at me and my friends in return

1987 buick grand national. when i got her she was far from stock but far from what she is now. my first race (sort of) was against 2 199* hondas. they actually didnt even see me, what happened was i turned down a long empty backroad at about 1am and saw 2 cars stopped. i didnt realize what was happening until i heard someone spin tires. i only had the gn for a few days, so i figured what the hell lets see what she can do. they were about 40' ahead when they started, maybe a second later i floored it. nothing happened (turbo lag) then my stomach felt like it was in the back seat. i had to Slam on the brakes to avoid going through one of the cars. i backed off a few seconds then nailed it again, i played this game a few times before i got a chance to pass them. thats when i really fell in love with turbo buicks. il post my first actual bumper 2 bumper race soon, it was a 5.0!
