735i power steering and stalling

My bmw has just started to stall for the first time ever after making a full lock turn, ive just checked the fluid and it is low, would this cause the engine to stall?

Re: 735i power steering and stalling

I don't know about the fluid level, but I do know that some cars were manufactured to stall if the sterring wheel were turned full lock as a safety feature. Whether BMW is one of those, I do not know, but it could be possible. I would certainly top off your fluid level and check for leaks, though, if I were you.

Unhappy Re: 735i power steering and stalling

I do experience hard to steer when making an exit on the NJ turnpike but stalling no. Maybe the timing is set low I heard rumors that the brake motor or the water pump is attached to the streering. Don't know make sure that the ICV for idling is good. And it has a good combustion pressure. My 735Il did'nt have compression on cylinder 1 but did not affect steering. hm thats a puzzle not in the bently manual your issue.
Help!!!!!
