Cool 1996 GMC K1500 Dome Light Keyless Module

I'm having dome light problems on my 1996 GMC K1500. The dome light will just come on when I'm driving, and at other times won't go out unless I turn my cargo light on and off? I was told this may be my keyless remote module...where the heck is it? Any other suggestions? I have 2 new door jamb switches and a new headlight switch, the dome override works intermittantly, as it did before I replaced the whole switch. This is driving me nuts and I hate not having a dome light, cargo light, or power mirrors. Thanks!!
