Exclamation I Need HELP!!!!!!

Ok heres my problem. I just got my tires rebalanced and my steering wheel still shakes. Normally I would think this is a bad balancing job, but heres the part I need help with, My steering wheel only vibrates sometimes. It is Ok for a while at 70-80mph and then for like 10-15 miles it is shaky, then its ok again. I dont know what to do. I know my tires arn't balanced only some of the time right?? Could this be a strut problem??Any help would be much aprreciated. And thanks for the time.

By the way, I have a 95 civic ex with 143,900 miles.

Does it happen when you brake or only when you are driving fast.

Could need a wheel allignment, or if it happens when you brake, could be your brake discs are warped, and need to be grinded back.

I've had this problem before, and it turned out to be the bearings.

If you want to check these, the process is simple. Just jack up the front wheels one at a time and then put one hand at the top of the wheel and one at the bottom. Using a light amount of pressure at each point, try to push with one hand and pull with the other. You shouldn't be able to get any motion, but if you get a small amount of play, you have a bad bearing on that side. Another symptom of bad bearings are a resonating roaring sound front he font or rear wheels. It will sound like road/tire noise, but louder.

I saw your car has 143,000 miles on it, which definately makes this a very good possbility.
