i'm thinkin about either doin a h22 swap or goin turbo after all. i'm not sure yet. how much would a h22 swap cost?

Re: 350hp goal

engine swap is between $1500 and $2500, give or take, and also depending on whether you get the transmission with it. Even with that, you're gonna spend a hell of a lot of money to get to 350hp on all motor, a real lot. If that's your goal, be smart, keep the engine you have because it's better for turbo applications (I'm assuming you have an Si with the 2.3L engine) and beef up your internals, then put a turbo on. That'll be the easiest and cheapest way IMO.

Re: 350hp goal

yeah, i was thinkin that. i'll probaly end up doin that, gettin a turbo an strengthening the internals. i've seen that video of the integra gsr with 515hp, used race gas though. so yeah, that would be awesome to hav an amazing amount of horsepower from a 4cyl

Re: 350hp goal

i've also decided to do a port and polish head and get:
AEM Ignition system
Drag Turbo, t3/t4
greddy intercooler
blitz BOV
S200 system from Hondata
and i'm thinkin about gettin a new fuel tank, i've heard it doesnt take that long for a lot of crap and rust to build up, about 3 to 5 years, is that true? steel braided clutch, brake, and fuel lines. new timing belt. 6 puck clutch, lightened flywheel.

Re: 350hp goal

i got no spending limit, every month i'm gonna put away some money for the car, however long it takes an no matter the cost, but i'll be shoppin around for the best price of course. and i wont stop til i get my 350hp. i remember readin in one thread the h22 tranny was geared to rev faster an handle a lower speed, somethin like that. might hav been the h23. dont remember.
