abs ligght on after brake job

abs seems to be fine, but light is on any ideas? happened after i put on new brake pads!! reset it once came back on.

ya, fluid doesnt just diapear from a brake job, so not sure what the problem is.

It is possible arter doing a break job that you had lost some fluid. When pushing the front pistons back in, the master cylinder might have had a little to much back pressure and a lil' bit of fluid might have "burped" out of the master cylinder. Or When Fixing the rear shoes you might have hit the wheel cylinder and sucked in alittle bit of air which might have made it back to the proportionating valve and might be activating an "idiot light"
